Commenting Policy

Comments are awesome. They help a post evolve into a discussion and also allow me to provide assistance to those who are having trouble with certain tutorials.

I also employ certain practices on this site, such as DoFollow and CommentLuv, which are not standard in the blogging world because they are subject to spam. As such, I have put the following policy together to set forth a standard for commenting on Do It With WordPress.

  • Please use your real name in the name field. Comments with keywords or company names may be modified or deleted at my option.
  • Please refrain from advertising in the comment. If a site is relevant to your point, then feel free to include it, but if it’s a clear case of spam, I may modify or delete your comment.
  • Put some effort into your comment: Comments which are clearly an attempt to just get your link on my page, are subject to removal. Add to the conversation, not the spam.
  • I reserve the right to modify any portion of the information you leave in your comment, including name, web address and comment content.

With that said, I love to receive comments, so please go nuts, read some tutorials, leave some comments and spread the word!
